Twenty-seven new justices of the peace are set to commence at the Ontario Court of Justice on July 8:
Adamidis was on the Licence Appeal Tribunal and presided over hearings for car accident disputes between insurance companies and drivers. Armes was director of Canadian operations at Pinkerton Consulting & Investigations.
Bhasin acted for unrepresented and financially disadvantaged individuals across Brampton and the Central West Region as a duty counsel. Blanas was an adjudicator at the Licence Appeal Tribunal.
Broderick was an adjudicator at the Landlord and Tenant Board. Buswa was the vice principal of Keewaytinook Internet High School.
Carrabs was a staff sergeant in the criminal investigation bureau of the Peel Regional Police. Cataldo was a a detective sergeant with the Niagara Regional Police Service.
Chandy was the director of Build Waterloo Region. Charles was a sergeant with the Toronto Police Service.
Chhokar-Tathgar was the regional director of Community Correctional Services for the Central Region at the Ministry of the Solicitor General. DuBarry was the director of DuBarry Consulting Group Inc.
Fatsis worked with the Ministry of the Attorney General in various capacities. Foy was a a senior investigator at the University of Ottawa.
Harris was the full-time vice chair of the Licence Appeal Tribunal. Jansz was the staff sergeant in charge of the community response unit at the Toronto Police Service.
Marks was the deputy superintendent of programs at the Maplehurst Correctional Complex. McNair was a vice chair of the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.
Newby-Hector was a York University finance director. Northcote was the associate dean of Centennial College’s Office Administration and Legal programs.
Nur was the health protection manager at Toronto Public Health. Pang was roster management director at Legal Aid Ontario.
Richardson was a psychotherapist at Loyalist College. Scaramuzzo was a probation and parole officer at the Ministry of the Solicitor General.
Schulz was board chair and director of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Senthilmurugan was the director of credit card servicing at Community Trust Company.
Todd was a detective constable and acting detective sergeant with the forensic interview team of the Ontario Provincial Police.
Ontario attorney general Doug Downey announced the appointments on June 26.
