Minden Gross LLP partner Steven Pearlstein has been selected by his peers and the Ontario Bar Association to receive the 2019 Award of Excellence in Real Estate Law on June 17.

The award recognizes Pearlstein’s leadership and contributions to the practice of real estate law in Ontario, a statement from the firm said.

A certified specialist in real estate law, Pearlstein has advised clients for more than 30 years, including some of the largest real estate development companies and financial institutions in all areas of commercial real estate. Before he joined Minden Gross, he was managing partner at a Toronto law firm and operated a real estate investment company.

“I find his advice invaluable, always well thought-out (and frequently brilliant) and always freely given with generosity of spirit,” wrote Jeffrey Lem, director of titles for the Province of Ontario, in his recommendation letter.

Pearlstein is the law firm’s second recipient of the award, following Reuben Rosenblatt in 1996.
